Britton Outdoors runs guided hikes to numerous locations throughout Munster. We have some stunning day hikes suitable for all levels in the Galtees, Commeraghs, Knockmeldowns and the Reeks. To date, we have run a number of sunrise, sunset and day hikes which have all been a roaring success. Keep an eye on our guided hikes page for new locations and dates and if you have a walk you have always wanted to do feel free to let us know and we might add it to the list of events.

Do you run hikes for private groups?

Is there an age limit on the guided hikes?
There is no upper age limit. For anyone under the age of 18 they should be accompanied by a parent/guardian. We don’t usually take anyone under the age of 14 in a group however please get in touch and we can arrange a group/family day to suit your needs.

What happens if the weather is very bad on the day of the hike/course?
The participant’s safety is our utmost concern. If the weather is deemed unsafe to go out the day will be cancelled. We will do our utmost to run the day/course so we will look at alternative routes and other options prior to cancellation. If we need to postpone the day you can book into the next hike/course that suits your calendar and we will transfer your booking.

Can I bring my dog on the hike?
No, unfortunately, we cannot take any pets on our hikes.
