    Mangerton - Guided Hike

    This is a beautiful hike in the wilds of Kerry. The walk will lead you along a river and up to Lough Nabroda. From here you will skirt around the lake and continue onwards to Crohane Lake and event to the summit of Bennaunmore.

ABOUT BRITTON OUTDOORS

Britton Outdoors was founded by Mark Britton in May of 2020.

Mark is passionate about sharing his love of the outdoors with others and is delighted with the interest that Britton Outdoors is receiving. Mark is enjoying being in the outdoors, meeting so many friendly and like-minded people.

Mark’s passion for the outdoors, adventure and exploration led him to earn a Diploma in Outdoor Adventure Management and he hasn’t looked back since. He has taught sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, mountain biking and hiking in numerous adventure centres throughout Ireland. In 2012 Mark completed a Degree from the University of Cumbria, in Outdoor Professional Practice.

    Britton Outdoors run guided hikes in numerous locations throughout Munster. We are usually found hiking in the Galtees, Commeraghs, Knockmeldowns, Ballyhoura’s and in Kerry. The navigation courses are normally run in the Galtees and Commeraghs.

    To date, we have run a number of sunrise, sunset and day hikes which have all been a roaring success. We try to select scenic hikes that will bring you to places you may not have been before. Keep an eye on our activities section for new locations and dates. If you have a walk you have always wanted to do, feel free to let us know and we might add it to the list of events.

    Britton Outdoors run outdoor activities for community groups, clubs and sports partnerships in the local area. To date, we have worked with Ballyhoura Development, Limerick and Clare Sports Partnerships as well as a number of the walking clubs in the area.

    Britton Outdoors is focused on teaching aspiring hillwalkers to become self-sufficient in the Irish mountains and is keen to encourage all participants to explore the beautiful Irish hills.
