About The Events

This wonderful trip will include four spectacular walks picked out for the dramatic scenery. Each walk will be in a different location with contrasting terrain, forestry tracks, open mountain side, valleys, gorges and high mountains. The final day of walking will include a summit of Veleta at 3,394metres. Pico de Veleta is the second highest peak on the Iberian Peninsula.

We have factored in some rest time to relax and explore the local village of Monachil, where you will be staying. We have also included a full day off from trekking which will give you time to pop into Granada to explore the famous Alhambra, Albaicin, take a segway tour or a tapas tour all at your own pace.

The trip is designed to be relaxed and friendly with small group sizes so everyone can get to know each other. There is no need to be shy so feel free to book in on your own or with a friend!! Our coordinator in Spain (my sister) has been living in the village of Monachil for a number of years and has lots of local knowledge and we will have a local walking guide (English speaking) with intimate knowledge of the mountains for each of the treks.
